The file funhouse.pk3 may be freely distributed but must not be
alterd, modified or added to in anyway nor should it be
distributed via CD-ROM (or other magnetic media), internet or
other means without prior permission from the files author
drumndav.
SysAdmins please feel free to add funhouse to your servers
FreeForAll map rotation cycle ;-)


Funhouse is unlike any other map because even though I gave it
bot support in FreeForAll mode it was meant to be a quasi single
player experience played in multiplayer mode.
It features custom everything, graphics, shaders, animations, and
sounds galor but my favorite creations in this map are
the funhouse lifts, the fountains and the keys N lights in the
disco room. Have a blast in 'The Funhouse'.


How to use funhouse :

1) Place the funhouse.pk3 file into your \Quake III Arena\baseq3
directory. The default Quake III Arena install directory is...
C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\baseq3


2) a:Start Quake III Arena and if/when your internet dialer comes
up select 'Work Offline' as you wont need to be online to
play the map in this example.

b: When the Quake3 Arena main menu comes up select the
'Multiplayer' button.

c: On the top of the Arena Servers menu select

'Servers: Local'

This will allow you to play a quasi-multiplayer game
within your computer. Now select the 'Create' button
at the bottom of the menu.

d: On the 'Game Server' menu select Free For All.
Use the menu arrows to scroll until you see funhouse and
select it by left clicking on it's picture once.
With the funhouse map now selected Click the 'Next' button.


3) Select the options in the lower right hand corner menu's
of the next screen.
'Frag Limit: 0-?'
'Time Limit: 0-?'
'Pure server: Off'
'Dedicated: No'
'Hostname: your choice of name...'


4) Select the 'Fight' button to start the game.
